The leather of the belt is great, what I would expect from Pioneer. The problem is the construction. The leather folded around the buckle is held together by two screws that constantly loosen! That is not acceptable for this price point. It should be rivets or sewn. They don’t use these screws on their weightlifting belts. Why are they used for this belt? I would also like to see the holes extend much further around the length of belt so getting the exact size of belt isn’t an issue. I’d personally love to see Pioneer offer a woven leather belt. Those are my favorite types of belts, but the fake leather ones commercially available start breaking down after a year. I’m not sure if I would recommend this belt based on cost versus functional issues.

I bought this for myself then my dad and then I gained weight and sent the smaller one to my cousin and bought another one.

Dad and my cousin both said way later that belt you have me is one or the best. I said it’s water buffalo. You don’t her to say that every day.

Great build and the in-between holes make the belt more versatile as you gain and lose weight.

Best belt I have ever owned. Have been wearing daily for 1 year and it only looks better with time. My weight has fluctuated 20lbs during this period and the belt has been extremely comfortable while using different holes. Highly recommend.

I've had my belt well over 5 years and it looks incredible still. I don't wear it every day, but it has stood the test of time as well as various uses from a dress belt, to a farm work belt, to an everyday belt. It's beautiful and durable. You will not be disappointed.

I was going through belts rather quickly, they would split apart, paint would come off, etc. Had this belt quite a while now, it has held up perfectly. What a belt should be, only belt that actually works for me longer than a couple months.

This was my first real leather belt. I got one of these belts on the July 4th sale in 2020 and wear it everyday. It wears like it is still brand new. Super durable. And I've owned belts from other belt makers like Ashland Leather, Popov Leather, and Hank's belts and they can't beat this belt in terms of value.
