Overall I happy with the construction of the stock belt. It has been very helpful in the gym.

My only complaint has to do with the belt’s appearance. It arrived with a couple nicks/chips in the black paint on the metal. It has nothing to do with the function of the belt, but still a bit of a bummer.

Have been using a nylon belt for a 4-6 months until I recently ordered the Pioneer Cut leather belt. I didn’t feel advanced enough to try a leather belt as my lifts were lighter. That is something that I wouldn’t recommend. I blew out my lower back by not bracing properly and not using any belt even though the weight was lighter. Just get a leather belt for anything that is heavy for you. I feel much more confident with the leather belt and my lifts have gone up mostly due to being more confident. The single prong is very stable. No concerns about it releasing like a lever. 1/2 inch holes work well. Belt fits larger than I ordered but worked out well for me. Should have gotten one sooner. There is a video on YouTube that breaks down the leading leather belts which made the decision easy. No break in period either. Will look at a custom from Pioneer in a year or two now that I know what to expect.

Definitely going to buy a custom one next year.

Fits true to size; I'm about a 33" true waist and bought the small. Was worried it would be tight but plenty of room both ways.

Just great quality, great support. Single prong closure is super easy and consistent. Has hugely improved my confidence and stability in heavy squatting. Have had it only a few weeks but definitely does the job. By all accounts these things really last - look forward to the update a few years down the road!

I've been using this belt 2-3 times a week for 6 months now for squatting, RDLs, deadlifting, and good mornings. It's in fantastic shape and it does the job. I like the pioneer cut. I was originally hesitant about the cut/style because the 1 belt prong and angling it up an down, but it works very well.

My belt was delivered in great shape. The material shed some faint black onto my shirts the first days I used it but it could be wiped/washed off with ease.

I would buy it again, no question.

I have been using this belt now for years. This belt was delivered on April 15th 2022. This belt is still in excellent condition. I would definitely by this belt again but I don't think I would ever need to unless it was lost or stolen. It seems like this belt will last me forever. The hole pattern is a game changer. It seemed like I was always in between holes on the other leather belts I have used in the past. The nylon belts I used didn't provide enough support. This belt checks every box for me. If you don't have one yet just get one you will not be disappointed. I am still extremely satisfied with my purchase after all the years.

The pioneer cut's 0.5 inch adjustments really allows you to get the perfect fit. Good leather, and will last me probably the next 5 years at least. Might take a couple of days to break in the leather

Great quality materials and craftsmanship, and looks great. The belt feels surprisingly good on first use, so I expect it to feel even better as it breaks in. The pioneer cut holes are great and allow for finer adjustments between lifts. Overall I love it so far. If anyone is trying to find their size, I found the size guide to be quite accurate.

Exactly what I was looking for and it came more broken in than I expected (10mm).

Bought it as a replacement for a stolen belt that was made by a competitor and this brand it far superior.

Simply put, this is the best belt I've ever used. Thick and strong, but malleable out of the box. I have fallen in love with the pioneer cut that allows a perfect fit each time. This belt should last me years and aid in hitting a few more major PRs/milestones. Outstanding work, everyone at the Pioneer.

Only thing is some of the suede may rub off on what you’re wearing the first couple of uses

I LOVE THIS BELT! I was not expecting how flexible it was out of the box. getting to the perfect tightness is so easy. NO need to lean up to the power rack and leverage for more. The 1/2 inch holes are a great design too. Though I will most likely have this belt forever, I see a custom in my future.

I'm not a power litter or body builder. I've always used a regular leather weight belt but was looking for something to provide a bit more support. This belt is working very well. I like that it goes in half inch increments. I do recommend this.

Solidly build, this thing oozes American made quality. Feels like it’ll last forever given the strength and thickness of the leather, contrasted by the smoothness of the black suede. Easily the best build I’ve owned in my 10+ years of heavy lifting.

Good belt, havent tried 10mm before but I like it. Doesn't take too long to break in and helps the squat for heavy triples. I got a M and I have a 35inch waist and fits great. The buckle is great, I like the small incremental adjustments

I've had this belt for about a month now and have been really liking it. It's constructed well, has been critical when lifting for PRs and all around just looks nice. My only regret is I wish I went a size down. If I lose anymore weight I'm gonna run out of holes to get that perfect fit.

I was shopping for the right lifting belt and was recommended one by friends. I’m glad I took their recommendation because I was also considering the SBD with the lever, which would burn a hole through my pockets. These belts are less expensive and the materials feel that it will last forever. The sizing charts are also very accurate. I will definitely order a customizable belt later on!
