Right out the box the best belt ever. When I felt it I thought it's going to take a while to break in. Boy was I wrong this belt is smooth as butter 5 stars no doubt.

I have only used it twice so far but I already love it. It is VERY stiff but I was expecting this and am getting used to maneuvering it while it's still breaking in. The quality is amazing, as everyone said it would be. I feel honored to have a Pioneer belt in my gym gear now and know that it will serve me for years and years to come!

I really appreciated Pioneer's communication as the belt was being built and it took the estimated amount of time they said it would. It was odd to me that after all that communication I didn't get an email when it as done and shipped! I just got the notification from UPS.

Belt quality is amazing best belt I’ve ever used

The Belt: 6.5mm Untreated leather, no stitching. It's beautifully constructed and as classic as it gets. Fairly flexible out of the box, but softened and broke in over the course of a single, hard workout. Looking forward to seeing how the leather develops a patina with use.

The customer service: There were some hiccups/miscommunication in my ordering, and the customer service was fantastic in getting it corrected via a replacement. They were fast, communicative and kind. A great company all around.

This is my 2nd leather belt from Pioneer and I am just as pleased with it as my first belt! I’m by no means a competitor, just a garage gym owner training to stay in the game of life as long as I can. With that said, the 6.5mm thickness is just right for comfortable support while maintaining a little pliability in its use. The leather breaks in quite nice and the prongs are solid.

This is my third powerlifting belt from Pioneer and it will likely be the last for a while - not because of the quality, but because of the quality. I’ve got a couple of 10MM pioneer cuts that are perfect for what I use them for and I needed a very stiff 3” belt for DL and squats. It took about a month before I could get the loop through the buckle. Yes, it’s that stiff. And man, it’s nice. I highly recommend the leather outside and suede interior. I look forward to back and leg day just so I can strap in to this bad boy. If and when I need another belt, this is where I’m gonna go. I keep coming back because of the amazing quality.

The size was the one I needed (I'm right in the middle of the range) and the quality is beautiful. This is a forever belt!

This belt is fantastic, functionally perfect. I prefer it to a lever belt and the adjustment method is second to none, as is the leather quality. The only thing I would say could be better, Is I'd much rather see copper rivet and burrs instead of the tubular rivets, aside from looking better they would be more secure.

I'd also prefer a stainless steel buckle to nickel.

And finally I'd prefer if the keeper (the loop that holds onto the excess belt) was traditionally skived, overlapped, and stitched instead of held together with metal pieces. But these are minor qualms for an otherwise perfect belt.

Feels super sturdy, high quality materials and construction. Worth every penny.

I bought this belt as I started getting into heavier (400+) squats and deadlifts. I had been using an old belt in my gym while I waited on this to arrive. What a huge difference! This belt is just the right stiffness and provides perfect core support. High quality materials and craftsmanship. I would highly recommend this belt to anyone looking.

Best belt I ever used, I didn’t need to break it in it felt pretty comfortable out of the box. Shipping takes awhile but it is totally worth the wait.

I am still waiting to receive my order. We got an email asking to review my order--8 weeks waiting and still haven't gotten the belt and only e-mail was when I reached out to them. Frustrated at the lack of communication and now that it isn't being sent in a timely manner. Not even really sure if this company is for real or not?

I've had the 6.5mm pioneer cut belt (M) for a little over a year now and love it. The 1/2" adjustments are perfect for the months you are either cutting/bulking and provide great comfort and fit. I'm looking to perhaps upgrade to another belt (maybe 10mm) from Pioneer again, but am torn between the level (to add a PALS) or stick with the good old pioneer cut!

I just recently purchased the 13 mm 4 inch Pioneer Cut locally from Loaded Lifting and I've just received my 13 mm 3 inch Deadlift/Bench belt, which I ordered from this site.
