Pioneer Weightlifting Belt Sizing

Weightlifting/Power Lifting Belts are worn well above where you wear your shorts or pants, this means they are worn above the hip bones.

Your pant size is NOT your weight belt size.

To measure for the correct size, use a pliable measuring tape or seamstress tape. Measure around your waist, about 4 inches above where your pants are. *Do not “suck in”, measure in a relaxed state, then pull the measuring tape tight.

Use this measurement to choose your correct LEATHER WEIGHT belt size.

Custom 8.5 mm pioneer cut lifting belt

Ive purchased a stock 8.5 mm pioneer cut belt before and i loved it. I knew someday i'd get my own custom one made. I bought a pioneer adjustable lever for my 10 mm inzer belt and loved it and i bought 3 of the water buffalo heavy duty work/gun belts. One for myself and one for my father and his twin brother on fathers day. Very stoked with how the custom belt turned out. It looks great, the 8.5mm feels broken in out of the box and the pioneer cut allows for the perfect adjustments. The quality is unmatched and they were communicative during the whole process. These guys never miss. I'll be back for a custom collar for my dog in the future.

I am blown away by the quality and construction of this belt. Everything from the stitching to the dye is perfect. I went with the 13mm and was a bit worried that it would take ages to break in like my 10mm Inzer did. After only using it a dozen times or so it feels better and more comfortable than I ever thought it would. I cant imagine ever needing another belt, this thing is build like a tank

I could not happier with this belt. I've had it for over 7 months and live it. The fit takes some getting used to as I have only used the crappy belts at the Y from Dicks. But this belt is amazing. Sturdy AF, stylish (purple dye with the black edging), and durable. No signs of any wear and tear and I'm in it got at least 45 min to an hour 3 times a week. Pay the extra. Get the belt you like. The 1/2 inch holes help especially if you're cutting and bulking regularly.

The belt I received is very nice overall. I love the cut of the belt as it gives more fit options. I am going up and down in weight from bulking and cutting and the staggered hole placement is very convenient. The leather of the belt looks and feels nice. I would recommend this belt to my friends.
I wish I would of asked about the felt colors before I ordered the lime green. I thought the felt would look more vibrant than it does. It is very muted. I paid extra for the black buckle and some of the buckle came unpainted and silver in color. The black also seems to scratch off easily.

Well I thought the pioneer cut was somewhat of a gimmick but ordered it anyway, it is not, and I have found it to be functional. I ordered the 13mm light brown version with black trim. And I like it a lot. There are belts and then there are one of a kind belts with suede lining, laser engraved name and images, and hand dyed leather built using only premier parts. If the cost is not the limiting factor I am positive this company can produce the last weight belt you will ever want and to include any and all of your branding / badging ideas. I am highly satisfied with my one of a kind belt and you will be too.
