While the leather quality of this Pioneer belt is undeniably excellent, I am extremely frustrated with the sizing. I ordered a Size SM (advertised as 27" to 36"), but the belt I received barely reaches 33 inches at the very last hole. This makes the belt completely useless as it barely closes.

​It seems I was either sent an XS by mistake or the sizing guide is totally inaccurate. Between the incorrect belt size and the wrist/knee wraps that are too stiff to use, I have spent exactly $280 (including international shipping) on products that are currently unusable due to misleading descriptions and sizing errors.

​Pioneer is a premium brand, and I expected better quality control. Sending a belt that is 3 inches shorter than advertised is unacceptable, especially for an international customer.

my request for a Size SM (27"-36") was stated in my emails. The belt I received measures only 26" to 33" specs that don't even exist in your size chart for SM or XS. Perhaps your time was too valuable to read my email carefully before shipping the wrong item, but blaming the customer for your fulfillment error is unprofessional. This isn't a SM; it's simply a product that doesn't match your own advertised measurements.

I did so much research with weight lifting belts, I really wanted a lever one as my weight tends to fluctuate different times of the year. So glad I went with pioneer, the belt is great quality, easy to adjust and provides great support. Quick delivery aswell considering I’m based in the UK. Great buy.

The belt i recieved had obvious damages to the buckle and pitting in the metal and seams. This was an in-stock belt and shipped fairly quickly, however its a B-stock item sold for brand new pricing so dont be shocked for any future purchases of this item. The suede belt itself looks to be of quality and is thick and sturdy, but lazy manufacturing from Pioneer. I have used vastly cheaper USA made belts with the same or above quality for half the price, but chose the premium option because I thought it would have different fit and finish. Only time will tell if it holds up.

Ordered slightly big, kept it anyway..because this belt is that good. It’s officially my off-season belt, and I’ll be grabbing another. Also worth noting: it smells incredible. Leather cologne vibes the entire lift.

So this review is a few years overdue now, because I wanted to wait a year, and life happened, so this is probably 5+ years worth of experience now.
This belt has held up tremendously well. Even with weight gain and loss, and having to make adjustments to sizing up or down a few notches, the belt conforms within just a few uses (3 or 4 solid workouts).
It's been banged, dropped, smacked, tossed, and basically touchdown spiked (hit a PR with too much preworkout after a solid inhale of smelling salts 😝) , and the only thing I've noticed after all this time is it looks a little dingy from all the chalk that's gotten on it (I chose black suede, I regret nothing).
This is without a doubt one of my favorite pieces of equipment.
Fun story about their customer service, in the additional comments section, I thought I'd be funny and ask for a picture of a dinosaur because "I really like dinosaurs!".
Now mind you this was probably a one-off, but these guys ran with it, and are ABSOLUTE LEGENDS for this. Check the images, because they took the time to hand draw me a picture in addition to crafting the awesome little design that I normally keep up on my wall near my gear, and I always smile when I see it.

Bought my belt during the Independence Day sale. Arrived quickly and love it! Pricey but I did quite a bit of research and ended up with Pioneer. Quality is on point and well made. Well worth the money, you won’t be disappointed. The adjustability is really good. I wear a size medium and the 1/2” increments is really nice compared to some other belts that have a 1” adjustment. Don’t fear outgrowing it as the 30”-40” range of adjustment should cover me during any bulk I do and I’m close to my smallest currently (6’, 190lbs, 33/34” waist) for reference and can adjust smaller if needed.

Belt is very supportive and the lever latch is the best for going from heavy lifting to double setting different exercises. I latch it down for squats and deadlifts and then release the latch to double set different exercises.

I purchased the double suede 4" belt with the PAL 2.0 adjustable lever. My belt fits as if it was made just for me. I appreciate the increased adjustability of this lever style. I can adjust the feel to what's best for me each lifting session. Increased confidence and stability as well. Best belt I've ever used.

I received an email saying I had left something in my basket. I was still deciding whether to buy the 10mm V2 PAL belt because the shipping costs were quite high, so I replied mentioning that.

The next day, Pam emailed me back and let me know there would be a sale soon, although I had already placed my order by then. Later, she contacted me again to make sure I had chosen the correct size. I had ordered an XS because my waist size is 31", which is the maximum size recommended for the XS. Since the Small (27"-36") would likely be a better fit, Pam kindly offered to switch my order to a Small even though it was listed as sold out, as they keep a few extra sizes available for situations like this.

I really appreciated that they took the time to help me without me even asking. Great customer service and it shows they genuinely care about their customers.

I ordered the belt in black on black. I've had two gym friends order as well. The finish is suede and the adjustable level provides ease of use and a very strong "lock" meaning I know when the belt is locked in with a snap. Recommend to anyone asking and definitely worth the price. Shipped surprisingly quickly as well. ~C

The belt arrived in excellent condition and feels very sturdy and well-made. As my first weightlifting belt, I was excited to start using it. My only suggestion would be to include clearer assembly and setup instructions for first-time users, particularly regarding lever installation and proper belt tightness. Other than that, the quality is great and I am satisfied with the purchase.

My first, and due to quality, probably last lever belt. Expectations exceeded on all levels.
