Pioneer Weightlifting Belt Sizing
Weightlifting/Power Lifting Belts are worn well above where you wear your shorts or pants, this means they are worn above the hip bones.
Your pant size is NOT your weight belt size.
To measure for the correct size, use a pliable measuring tape or seamstress tape. Measure around your waist, about 4 inches above where your pants are. *Do not “suck in”, measure in a relaxed state, then pull the measuring tape tight.

How do you choose the right lifting belt thickness?
Over time in the weight room most lifters can figure this out by trial and error or the wise council of veteran lifters. If you don’t know what you want or don't have access to different belts please read our belt thickness guide to learn more.

This lever weight belt comes with either our patented* V2 PAL (Pioneer Adjustable Lever) or a standard lever. This belt comes with black leather exterior and the black suede inside will keep the belt from sliding around and that annoying leather dust off you like the old 10mm untreated stock belts. The belt will be completed with black bonded nylon thread and black edge paint. Now if that isn't cool enough, a black PAL 2.0 can be added. If you don't know what the V2 PAL is, it is an adjustable lever that allows for 1/2" tightening/loosening increments before a screwdriver has to be used. It has been another game changer to the lifting belt world and we are confident with the changes we made to the first version, you will never look at regular lever belts the same.
