I had my first belt custom made about 7 years ago by the pioneer team. It was my first piece of real lifting equipment and carried me through so many PRs and wins, big and small. Fast forward to December of 2025 when this belt was stolen from my vehicle. I quickly reordered another, which was also then stolen about a month after I got it. There was no other option than going back for a third belt from Pioneer. Their team is so communicative and kind. Their attention to detail is unmatched and the quality of the belt speaks for itself (clearly a high value item considering people like to steal them lol). The belts have been so beautiful and I wouldn't order for any other company. Supporting family businesses means so much to me and Pioneer is one of the best. They see the vision, they understand their clients, and they make the best lifting belt on the market.
I'm on my 3rd Pioneer Belt. My first, a 2.5" 6.5mm one was donated to a gym and has taken a true beating and is still going strong. The 2" bench belt was my second belt after I bruised my ribs on the 2.5" belt. I have very little room between the top of my hips and the bottom of my ribs and this fit and did a great job. I used to use it for squat, bench, press, and deadlift. I now just use it for the bench. (I started powerlifting, and my coach put me in a different belt.) I was sad that (at the time, not sure about 2026) I couldn't get offset holes because it was so narrow, but it's worked out.
While the leather quality of this Pioneer belt is undeniably excellent, I am extremely frustrated with the sizing. I ordered a Size SM (advertised as 27" to 36"), but the belt I received barely reaches 33 inches at the very last hole. This makes the belt completely useless as it barely closes.
It seems I was either sent an XS by mistake or the sizing guide is totally inaccurate. Between the incorrect belt size and the wrist/knee wraps that are too stiff to use, I have spent exactly $280 (including international shipping) on products that are currently unusable due to misleading descriptions and sizing errors.
Pioneer is a premium brand, and I expected better quality control. Sending a belt that is 3 inches shorter than advertised is unacceptable, especially for an international customer.

my request for a Size SM (27"-36") was stated in my emails. The belt I received measures only 26" to 33" specs that don't even exist in your size chart for SM or XS. Perhaps your time was too valuable to read my email carefully before shipping the wrong item, but blaming the customer for your fulfillment error is unprofessional. This isn't a SM; it's simply a product that doesn't match your own advertised measurements.
Reezk,
I noticed that you left a one star review for all of the products that you ordered. I am sorry that you are unhappy with your purchases. I had our customer support team review your correspondence back and forth and it appears that you requested the 'smallest small' we had. We did our best to address all of your concerns, and I am sorry our efforts weren't enough to ensure your satisfaction. If you ever have questions regarding future purchases please reach out to us before you complete the order.
I am very disappointed because I made this purchase based on the website's description. These are classified as being for beginners and intermediates, but in reality, they are extremely stiff and have absolutely no stretch or flexibility. They do not suit my training needs and are impossible to use for someone looking for standard support.
I showed them to a champion lifter at my gym, and he confirmed they are excessively stiff and should only be classified for elite professionals. The description is completely inaccurate and misleading; it needs to be corrected to prevent others from making the same mistake. This product is not suitable for the audience mentioned in the description.

The website claims 120% stretch for Beginners and Intermediates but this is total misinformation. As shown in my video and photos, these wraps are stiff as wood with zero elasticity. Listen to the sound in the video! You can hear how rigid the material is. They are so stiff that they cannot be wrapped properly with one hand and they create large dangerous gaps around the wrist instead of supporting it. Selling wooden planks to Beginners and Intermediates is deceptive and unprofessional. I received an unusable product that doesn't match the advertised specs. Sending products that do not match the specifications mentioned in the store and then placing the blame on the customer is completely unprofessional.

I am giving this 1 star because the product is completely different from the description. I bought the "Light" version based on the website's info, but it is rock hard with zero flexibility. It is impossible to wrap without a partner's help.
This is definitely not for beginners or intermediates as described; it is only for elite lifters squatting 600+ lbs. This product will not suit most lifters, just as it didn't suit me. The website must update the description immediately because it is misleading and does not match the product at all.

To be direct, your response ignores the core issue: Misleading Information. Your website categorizes these wraps for Beginner/Intermediate lifters with 120% stretch, yet they are extremely stiff and require an assistant to wrap a setup for eli Pros and Elite only.
Most importantly, when I specifically asked if these were similar to a famous brand, you claimed they were 'only slightly stronger. In reality, they are exponentially stiffer. I purchased based on your direct advice, only to receive an unusable product. Providing inaccurate specs just to secure a sale and then shifting the blame is unprofessional.

Better than expected! Teammates were asking where he got it, so that they could get one.
The belt is excellent. The quality is top notch, and the lever works flawlessly. Being able to adjust the tightness a couple of notches without a screwdriver is a huge plus, since I prefer a slightly looser fit for deadlifts than for squats.
Belt was made exactly as designed. Perfect color and very wearable right out of the box. There was no break in needed. I am very pleased with the embroidered lettering on the belt.
After sizing my 105lb teen daughter, was unsure if even XS was small enough. Over the phone Pioneer was very helpful with our concerns and offered to customize one even smaller at no extra cost, but due to time constraints we went with the stock XS. Second-to-last hole but works fine.
Impressive leather quality, minimal if any break-in needed. We spray treated it with the the waterproofing stuff, still looks great so far after a few sweaty workouts.
Pioneer 1/2" hole system proved extremely useful for us to dial in the right fit.
She set some state USPA records at her first meet, which is why we needed the belt on short notice when we learned velcro-fastened belts aren't allowed.
She feels a tradeoff with suede is that chalk dust can settle in it, but I told her that's a sign of a serious lifter and in any case we could blow it out with air compressor. Pluses are comfort and quick or instant break in comfort.
Online sentiment didnt lie, best belt out there. I even paid 100 dollars in shipping and VAT (to Denmark), but still worth every penny. PRs were made🤟
This belt is the bee's knees. Given, I've only had it a week, and it needs some breaking in on the edges so it bends with me a bit easier (absolutely to be expected). The lever mechanism works beautifully and how nice it is to just be able to snap it on with a gentle tug and snap it off with a single finger(yeah, that's right. Just one). I haven't lifted with a belt in about ten years, but being mid 30s now doing heavier lifts beltless is not the smartest decision, and I've been feeling. After a bunch of research, Pioneer stood out for offering an adjustable lever, the thickness of the belt, and just feeling like a no bull kind of company. I've used it twice on deadlifts so far, and the amount I can use my legs and feel no tension in my lower back while weight moving like butter can only be explained by the feeling my back has a day after a heavy load.
