The quality is amazing. It is fairly configurable, and you can definitely dial in a good fit. Fitting between somebody at the bottom and the top of the sizing doesn't work though (e.g. 2 ppl at 31" and 40" can't both use it without unscrewing the lever). The lever is really nice, and there is definitely enough adjustment to get a good fit. The belt looks amazing!

It’s a bit stiff and needs some breaking in, but I am obsessed and wanna sleep with my new belt on.

I have been using this belt for ~3 weeks and WOW it is an incredibly durable lifting belt. I was hesitant about the quality of the lever and was happily surprised by the solid metal. I wish I bought this belt sooner!

Needed a belt for compounds and couldn’t rationalize spending 300+ on an SBD one so people at my gym told me Pioneer was high quality but MUCH cheaper. They weren’t lying the belt is super nice quality (you will need to break it in), very easy to assemble, and arrives quickly. I have absolutely no complaints my only one is that I didn’t go with Pioneer sooner. Advice also get the V2 pal lever not the normal one it is 100% worth it.

The belt arrived fast and as described. Dropped a few inches and needed a smaller belt to replace my Kabuki one (made by Pioneer). The new belt arrived with the same quality of my original, only with Pioneer embossed instead of Kabuki. I love it.

This is my first “real” belt that I’ve used. This belt is a game changer! Since using it (about two weeks now) I’ve hit PRs on my squat, bench, and deadlift. I feel so secure using this belt. My brace is unreal. Love the fact that you can make small adjustments without having to unscrew the lever. If you’ve been on the fence about getting a belt, get this one! You WILL NOT be disappointed! Definitely won’t be my last pioneer purchase.

From the moment I unboxed it, I was struck by the impeccable craftsmanship—every stitch is flawless, and the vegetable-tanned leather exudes quality. The PAL V2 lever system is a game-changer. Its micro-adjustability allows for precise fitting, accommodating fluctuations in waist size without the need for tools. This feature is especially beneficial for those whose waist measurements vary due to training cycles or daily changes.

As a bodybuilder and fiber eater, my waist circumference fluctuates a good amount. The buckle’s adjustments save me so much hassle.

Fantastic belt lever and belt are durable. Don’t bother looking elsewhere

This is a high quality belt. It's my first lever belt and I love it - looks and feels great. It is stiff, but has broken in well in the six weeks I've had it. I measured 38.5" so could have gone with either M or L. I'm really glad I went with the medium size. I have plenty of adjusting room in either direction with the medium. Great purchase and value.

This is a FABULOUS belt. My second Pioneer belt, and my first-ever lever belt. Hard to describe how awesome it is. I have been lifting nearly 50 years, and this is the last belt I will ever need to buy. It makes every other belt I have owned over five decades look like junk (except for my other Pioneer belt).

The Pioneer V2 lever is brilliant. I am a 5'6" guy (166 lbs), and I got the 13mm thick, 4" wide belt, and it is perfect. Yeah, it takes a little getting used to (like three days) but the payoff in more powerful bracing and increased torso rigidity is well worth any fleeting minor discomfort.

The craftmanship is A+++. Not a single flaw anywhere, not even a faulty stitch. The leather is gorgeous. I now use my 10mm, 3" wide Pioneer belt only for benching. This is the absolute go-to for SQ, DL, and military press. Highly recommended. VERY HIGHLY recommended. Got a meet coming up in early 2025, and I cannot wait to get on the platform with this baby!

Was nervous about ordering from a US based company as thought shipping would be expensive and complicated. BUT! The Pioneer belt is the only belt I’ve ever converted and in my (humble) opinion the PAL V2 is the ultimate in micro adjustable levers.

Anyway, I didn’t need to worry about, shipping was easier and the prices transparent (it worked out cheaper to buy direct) it arrived quicker than a lot of stuff I’ve ordered from UK suppliers.

What I hadn’t accounted for was just how beautifully made the whole thing is, looks amazing, works perfectly (even with my fluctuating weight), is a constant talking point in the gym and as a bonus my gym bag smells amazing for a change.

All in all couldn’t be happier with the belt or my experience with Pioneer, if you are worried about shipping to the uk, there is absolutely no need.

If you are looking at serious belts, it is between this and the SBD belt. The pioneer system is better than the sbd system. there i said it. it is more adjustable. I can lift with a hoodie on or in a t shirt without taking out a screwdriver. I really have no cons to mention. JUST BUY

My only gripe is a tiny one and that the hardware screws can strip easily. Make sure everything threads in completely prior to fastening everything together. I had a screw thread issue, but got it solved immediately. I can’t wait to use this belt! It feels like it’ll have the support that I need to continue pushing higher weights.

I got the belt very quickly after ordering and it did not disappoint. It will require some breaking in but that’s what you want with a heavy duty belt like this. 10/10 recommend.

So I bought this belt and the color of the leather doesn’t match the picture at all.. Not the belt I received.. Now this belt is so amazing it’s perfect and well worth what I paid, but the leather was more of a peach color rather than a brownish color and that’s the only issue I have and the lever is not chrome it’s almost a gray color so I’m taking 2 stars away.. But besides those two issues it’s a badass belt.. I don’t want to wait and or send it back so I’m going to just keep it because I plan on getting a custom belt from pioneer later on so this one will do until I can afford a fully custom belt..

Once my order was processed, they shipped it right away. Thankfully, I live in TX so the delivery came overnight. The usual contention is between SBD and Pioneer when it comes to adjustable lever belts. I prefer the SBD lever, but Pioneer leather quality is superior. Don’t get me wrong, Pioneer lever is really fantastic as well. It’s even more adjustable with half inch increments. The hardware is nicely packed and you can just tell it’s very high quality holding it. The the the lever mechanism is extremely smooth. Overall, I would take the Pioneer over SBD. Lever is one thing (you can purchase hardware by itself) but the actual quality of the belt is far superior on the Pioneer. I wanted tge blacked out version but they were sold out unfortunately. However, this tan leather version is very aesthetically pleasing so I’m happy either way. When I started lifting, I started squatting with 10lb plates. This was a gift to myself marking my 315 achievement. Previously I’ve been using belt made of fabric but I would spend a good time and energy trying to get it real tight. You get maximum stability with one snap with this belt. Some high quality knee sleeves are $100 more or less (like Inzer $135) and they are a piece of neoprene… this Pioneer belt is quality leather and steel. This is worth every penny without a doubt.
